Kristin P. Bennett's research interests include: combining operations research and artificial intelligence problem solving methods; mathematical programming approaches to problems in data science, data mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning such as machine learning, support vector machines, neural networks, pattern recognition, and planning; application of these techniques to medical, financial and scientific problems; applications of machine learning to systems biology, cheminformatics, bioinformatics, tissue engineering, molecular epidemiology, and population biology.
