TITLE: Tools and Methods for Pretty Knowledge Graph Visualizations

DESCRIPTION: Knowledge Graphs (KG), which represent semantically rich information as a graph of subject-predicate-object triples, can naturally support visualizations of information which are easily understandable and attractive even for non-experts. Despite this advantageous modeling structure and the many standards surrounding KGs, however, it can be surprisingly difficult to actually produce good visualizations of this information. In this TWed we'll explore and discuss some of the current tools that exist for visualizing KGs from various perspectives, including RDF vs non-RDF based graph visualizations, large-scale vs small-scale graphs, and static figures vs interactive applications.
