The Web Science Research Center is a founding member of the Web Science Network of Laboratories (WSTNet http://webscience.org/WSTNet.html) recently established by the Web Science Trust (http://webscience.org/trust.html). The center is part of a global alliance with the other nine founding members:
- Annenberg Network of Networks, University of Southern California;
- Decentralized Information Group, Massachusetts Institute of Technology;
- Department of Computer Science, VU Amsterdam;
- Digital Enterprise Research Institute, NUI Galway;
- Institute for Web Science and Technologies, Universitat Koblenz-Landau;
- Oxford Internet Institute;
- Science of Network in Communities (SONIC), Northwestern University;
- Tsinghua-Southampton Web Science Research Laboratory at Shenzhen;
- Web Science Research Group, University of Southampton.
While the Web Science Center has just been formed (and thus this page will be evolving), it builds on the growing Tetherless World Constellation (http://tw.rpi.edu) which has been a trailblazer in Semantic Web and Web Science research and technologies.
