  • mspace
    • mspace is a lot more difficult to install than jspace. Requires a specific build of mysql. Required Stephan to install on a VM. Just completed a successful first install of mspace and will begin playing
  • jspace
    • Stephan installed. There isn't much information regarding this. The jspace wiki page only has a couple pages with it. There's no information about API that we've found yet, etc... It's easy to install and use. Will continue to look in how to use.
  • d2rq/d2r server
    • have not yet gotten to this
• VSTO Replica
  • don't think we can use mod_jk because all this does is take something like http://escience.rpi.edu/vstoapp and redirects it to escience.rpi.edu:8080/vstoapp. It looks for something after the / and redirects that to tomcat if apache can't do anything with it. We need to take http://vsto.rpi.edu and have it go to the portal.
  • mod_proxy doesn't completely work. Once we get to the portal at vsto.rpi.edu we can pass that on to localhost:8080/. This works until we've made all our selections and ready to go get data. The login redirects to localhost:8443, which doesn't work. If you click the login tab it takes you to the login screen at localhost:8443/. Once you've logged in it takes you to localhost:8080 and everything works.
  • still need to try mod_rewrite. Will post here what I find.
  • Once have tried mod_rewrite push the thing that works best, which is currently mod_proxy, to escience.
• (Patrick) Need to go over past meetings and collect tasks. Put in Trac.
• (Stephan and Patrick) Need to move all FogBugz tickets to Trac and cancel FogBugz account
• PPTS - Stephan updated document. Patrick is sending to James with note.
