• How GridFTP and OPeNDAP Hyrax interact
  • We should leverage Neil's work on a GridFTP module for ESG Authorization
  • Our major task now is to update the RNI GridFTP module and ensure it works with the ESG Authorization Module.
  • Come up with use cases and diagrams
  • We could use the ESG GridFTP Authorization module as a basis for writing a BES ESG Authorization Module.
• How TDS & LAS interact with ESG Security
  • The current GridFTP use case is independent of LAS/Ferret
• Action Items

1. Security Group - Take a look at the ESG-2 Use Cases for client security
2. SDS - Take a look at the TDS/LAS architecture and use cases (start in 2 weeks, for 1-2 weeks)
3. SDS - Respond to any questions from Argonne
4. SZ - Follow-up with Neil during AuthZ module prototype, be ready to act as a tester (start in 1 week, proceed as needed)
5. SZ - Update RNI to NetCDF 4, remove explicit dependency on libnc-dap
6. SDS - Document Use Cases on the wiki (http://tw.rpi.edu/portal/ESG-CET)
   1. Setup accounts on Portal Wiki for Neil and Rachana
