abstract = {Leaps in processor performance have recently made it possible to process and reason over ontologies on computing machinery, such as desktops and laptops, in sub-minute times. Mobile devices, such as Apple Inc.'s iPhone, do not have the processing power of even today's low end notebook machines. Mobile platforms, unlike their larger cousins, require clean, uncluttered interfaces due to small screen resolutions. OWL Mobile is an application designed for the popular iPhone platform which works toward a goal of simplicity and speed to allow for ontology viewing on a mobile device. The program uses the model-view-controller paradigm to generate and manipulate RDF+OWL graphs on a remote server. This modular design allows OWL Mobile to be extended for other platforms in order to match the look and feel of each individual device while still allowing for the same power across all platforms.}
