Abstract

The 21st century is featured with links. We are physically linked via social ties and virtually linked via web ties. Linked data and knowledge form a complex world around us. Identifying the construction and structure of graphs or networks is the key to understand our complex world. This talk provides an overview of the current state of the arts in applying social network analysis to semantic web or another way around to identify the mutual benefits for these two areas.
