I am is a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). In Fall 2008, I was admitted to the RPI School of Science Accelerated B.S./Ph.D. program. Since then I have pursued research under the supervision of Prof. Peter Fox in the areas of eScience and Informatics. I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from RPI in May 2010 with a 4.0 average, and I am pursuing research towards a Ph.D. in Computer Science with the Tetherless World Constellation. In the past, I have worked on projects including temporal modeling for the Virtual Solar-Terrestrial Observatory and the TW Web Site, both of which have implications for the Semantic eScience Framework project. During the summer of 2010, I participated in a summer fellowship at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. The project produced a framework to support data and application integration using a mixture of established Web 2.0 and Semantic Web technologies. My current research interests are in the areas of application integration and rules languages for the Semantic Web.
