    1 3 1 Evan Patton has worked with technology for most of his life in one form or another, and began more rigorous explorations during elementary school on an old Apple IIe computer. Since then, he has explored a variety of topics in computer science, including database systems, networking protocols, systems-level programming, robotics, and web ecosystems. During his undergraduate career, Evan developed a system called VIA that was designed to record web browsing behavior using the Mozilla Firefox browser. He also developed a modeling tool called SANLab-CM designed to build descriptive human performance models of task environments. Evan completed his undergraduate degree in 2009, a dual Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and Psychology and officially joined the Tetherless World as a Ph.D. student.
