Abstract Twine is a service for tracking and filter Twine is a service for tracking and filtering knowledge around Interests, powered by the Semantic Web. Although Twine provides a range of semantically powered features, user feedback and behavior have provided surprising insights about what our users actually want and use. In addition, through the process of building, scaling and operating a large online service powered by Semantic Web technologies, much has been learned about what works and what doesn't, and in particular, where Semantic Web technologies still need further evolution and improvement. This will be an open discussion about what we've learned so far, and our present thoughts about the future. and our present thoughts about the future.
