Abstract: In this panel, we intend to highlight the interaction between Social Semantic Web (SSW) and AI. While AI technologies are playing important roles in SSW applications, SSW applications are also uncovering new research challenges to AI community. We will ask the representative from the breakout session to discuss the research trend and challenges. Below are some sample topics for the panelists:
- knowledge representation - e.g. ontology, reasoning
- knowledge discovery and data integration - e.g., data mining, machine learning
- performance - e.g. high performance data store and computing,
- usability - e.g. user interaction model, visualization
