The project SMW Best Practices (SBP) shares our deployment experiences on Semantic MediaWiki at the Tetherless World Constellation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with the Web community. It focuses on the following objectives:

• fix the ease-of-use gap between semantic technologies and users (including developers and end users)
• promote online collaborative semantic content management, e.g. ontology management, group management
• enable cutting-edge semantic technologies for online community, e.g. semantic privacy protection, semantic provenance tracking
